Robert Stuart Keene

Robert Stuart Keene, age 55, of Brunswick died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

Mr. Keene was born December 9, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Robert Carl Keene and the late Mary Ann Hall Walker.  He was a member of the Appling County High School Class of 1979 and was self employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his daughters, Amy Williams of Hazlehurst and DeAnna Keene of Midway; sisters, Cindy Shuman of  Brunswick and Wendy Carter of Baxley; step-sister, Cindy Ray of Glennville; grandchildren, Abigail Williams and Sadie Williams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 2, at 2:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ricky Varnadore, Roger Varnadore, Luke Hayes, Jason Williams, Kenny Carter and Ronnie Williams.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
