Charles M. Hutchinson

Charles M. Hutchinson, 74, of Bloomingdale, Georgia died Thursday September 30, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Charles was born in Appling County to the Late Lanis and Murle Hutchinson.  He was a member of South Newington Baptist Church where he was Choir Director for 17 years. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved working with his hands, Deer Hunting, Men's Social Club, and was always willing to do anything for the Church and it's people. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye.

He was preceded in death by his son, Shane Hutchinson, and two brothers, Derrell Hutchinson and Dave Hutchinson.  He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Stone Hutchinson, son, Neil Hutchinson (Kelli), grandson, Christopher S. Hutchinson, 2 granddaughters, Avery and Kayla Hutchinson, and two brothers, Allen Hutchinson (Harriette), and Kenneth Hutchinson (Loretta), and one sister, Peggy White (Ronnie).

Visitation will be at 10:00 - 11:00 am Saturday October 9, 2021 at South Newington Baptist Church with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at 3:30 pm at Omega Cemetery in Baxley, Georgia.
