Chris Eston Murray

Chris Eston Murray, age 50, of Baxley passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta.

Mr. Murray was born November 14, 1971in Baxley. He was a Master Timber Harvester with Murray Timber Harvesting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Murray; brother, Thomas Murray; and step-daughter, Baylee Brewer.  

Survivors include his wife, Angela Turner Murray of Surrency; daughters, Lillie Brewer of Baxley, Skylar Murray of Macon, and Raigen Murray of Surrency; sons, Austin Brewer of Baxley, Auden Murray of Macon, and Chance Murray of Macon; father, Freddie Murray of Odum; and one grandchild, Audrey Tomberlin.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Pastor Mickey Tomberlin officiating.

Interment will follow at­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Will Murray, Greg Murray, Bryan Perry, Colby Sellers, Craig Gibbs, Jesse Murray, Jerome Murray, and Jeffery Murray.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
