Doris Yarbrough Young

Doris Yarbrough Young, age 64, of Hazlehurst passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her residence under the care of Community Hospice.

Mrs. Young was born October 8, 1958 in Wauchula, Florida and was a homemaker and a gospel singer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Jeanette Yarbrough; sisters, Joyce Lowe and Williana Amadio; and brother, Roy Yarbrough.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Rickey Lamar Young, Sr. of Hazlehurst; daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Pollock of Zolfo Springs, Florida; and son, Ricky (Kathleen) Young, Jr. of Hazlehurst.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
