Frances Louise Tomberlin

Frances Louise Tomberlin, age 69, of Baxley passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at The Pavilion.

Miss Tomberlin was born April 23, 1954 to the late J. C. Tomberlin and the late Loualta Tillman Tomberlin.  She attended the Sunshine Center and was preceded in death by her brothers, Jasper Tomberlin and Mark Tomberlin, and a sister, Emily Williams.   

Survivors include her sister, Marie Tomberlin of Gracewood; brother, Howard Tomberlin of Surrency; sisters-in-law, Jane Tomberlin of Surrency and Toni Tomberlin of Baxley. Nieces and nephews, Jenny Childs, Jill Davidson, Jessica Edenfield, Blake Tomberlin, Weston Tomberlin, Kristin Tomberlin, Dallas Tomberlin, Cheyenne Tomberlin, Shanna McCormick and Felicia Smith also survive.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Lay-minister Laurie Upchurch officiating.   

Active pallbearers will be Dillon Edenfield, Metz Davidson, Woody Childs, Blake Tomberlin, Timmy McGowan and Jasper Childs.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Tonya Fordham, Staff of Comfort Care Hospice, the C-Hall Staff of the Pavilion, Ariel Williams, Angie Gibbs, Frances Daniels, and Dana Edenfield.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
