Gary Allen Ryals, Sr.

Gary Allen Ryals, Sr, age 44, of Hazlehurst passed away Monday, January 16, 2023at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mr. Ryals was born on April 25, 1978 in Appling County and was formerly employed with Shawn White Concrete. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Dale Ryals, mother-in-law, Teresa Wooten and uncle, Freddie Gurley. 

Survivors include his wife, Renee Ryals of Hazlehurst; daughters, Kassidy Ryals and Kylee Ryals both of Hazlehurst; son, Gary Ryals, Jr. of Hazlehurst; mother, Pat (Henry) Lynn of Baxley; sister, Ann Marie (Bill) Hamm of Baxley; brother, Howard (Michelle) Gurley of Baxley; sisters-in-law, Sarah Wooten of Hazlehurst, Leeann (Will) Swinehart of Wray and Cindy (Brent) Brown of Hazlehurst; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Brittany) Wooten and Wesley Wooten both of Hazlehurst; and two grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Horton officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
