Glenda Sue Anderson

Glenda Sue Anderson, age 74, of Baxley passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.

Mrs. Anderson was born January 29, 1947 in Baxley to the late Wade Archie Williams and the late Gertie Lee Spell Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baxley Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Williams and Gary Williams; niece, Moranda Williams Cole; and nephew, Garrett Williams.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Charles J. Anderson of Baxley; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Archie and Debbie Anderson of Athens, AL; three grandchildren, Christian Anderson, Kelliann Anderson, and Connor Anderson all of Athens, AL; sister-in-law, Nancy Williams of Baxley; nephew, Ryan Williams of Baxley; and niece, Ashley Crawford of Hazlehurst.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Lee and Rev. David Deen officiating.

Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Christian Anderson, Connor Anderson, Ryan Williams, Allen Crawford, Buddy Crenshaw, and Jordan Ball.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.

Everyone in attendance is asked to please abide by COVID-19 precautions by wearing a mask and social distancing.
