Hilda Ann (Day) Waters

Hilda Ann Waters, age 77, of Hazlehurst died Friday, March 25, 2022 in Hazlehurst Court Care.

Mrs. Waters was born June 25, 1944 in Adel to the late Calvin Finley Day and the late Brunelle Powell Waters Tanner.  She was a former CNA and a sales clerk at Circle K.  Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her husband, David Waters, daughter, Debra Gibbs and son, Calvin Stanley Gibson.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Calvin (Shannon) Gibson and Ashley Gibson and great-grandchildren, Dakota Gibson, Chaz Gibson, Xander Gibson and Adyn Studstill; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Powell Cemetery in Telfair County with Rev. David Harrell officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
