J. T. Gaskins

J. T. Gaskins, age 67, of Baxley passed away January 7, 2022 at his daughter’s residence in Brunswick.

Mr. Gaskins was born February 3, 1954 in Baxley to the late Floyd Marshal Gaskins, Sr. and the late Shellie Lee Altman Gaskins. Before retirement, he was a concrete finisher with Dyal Concrete.

Mr. Gaskins is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, April & Joel Davis of Jesup, Heather & Paul Bennett of Brunswick, and Shellie Gaskins of Warner Robins; sister, Lydia Shumake of Baxley; and eight grandchildren, Vincent & Holden Essary, Sarah & Nathaniel McLaughlin, Ian Gaskins, Cheyenne & Tony Bennett, and Ava Rose McMillan also survive.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Omega Cemetery with Rev. Michael Wilder officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
