James Calvin Crosby

James Calvin Crosby, age 59, of Graham passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton.

Mr. Crosby was born November 22, 1961 in Appling County to the late Dewey “June Bug” Crosby, Jr. and the late Lillie Austeen Spell Gunn. Before retirement, he worked for many years with Amercord and upon their closing he became a mechanic. Mr. Crosby was a member of Graham United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Robbie Crosby of Graham; daughters Jamie Reeves of Graham and Crissy Crosby of Baxley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lynette & Danny Morrison of Hazlehurst, Marci & Robert Braun of Ocala, FL, Andrea & Carl Haynes of Hazlehurst, and Melissa Reynolds of Graham; brother, Curtis W. & Heidi Gunn of Tavares, FL; a step mother, Gloria Crosby of Baxley; three grandchildren, Layla Boyd, Drake Boyd, and Jasmine Reeves; and one great grandchild, Dana Thornton also survive.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoar Cemetery with Rev. Deek Dubberly officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
