Jerry Tracy Britt

Jerry Tracy Britt, age 67, of Jesup and formerly of Baxley, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Candler Hospital of Savannah.

Mr. Britt was born August 17, 1956 in Appling County to the late Cecil Thomas Britt and Opal Loretta (Smith) Britt. Jerry was a member of the Baxley Church of God and was an incredibly loving and remarkable man.  He was also preceded in death by his sister Eursly Britt and his brother Carl Britt.

Survivors include his sisters, Jo Scott of Cleveland, TN and Bonnie (Michael) Roberts of Jesup; and brother, Spencer (Sara Jo) Britt of Millen.  A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. David Deen officiating.  Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Britt, Ronin Dunham, Ray Sellers, Cliff Finley, Carlton Britt, and Dustin Dunham.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
