Jhelena "Ms. Helen" Samardjich Obituary

Jhelena “Ms. Helen” Samardjich, age 81, of Baxley died Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence under the care of GHC Hospice.

Ms. Helen was born April 4, 1940 in Ptuj, Slovenia to the late Milan Todorovich and the late Olga Korsec Toforovich. She was a former EKG Technician with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ohio but has resided in Appling County for many years. Ms. Helen was a lovely lady with a contagious wit and compassionate spirit. She had a great desire for helping those in need and supported many charities and humane societies.

Ms. Helen is survived by a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in the Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
