Judith (Deen) Griffin

Judith Deen Griffin, age 77, of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Griffin was born November 8, 1943 in Waycross to the late Robert Martin Deen and the late Evelyn Juanita Dixon Deen. She was a substitute teacher with Gwinnett County Board of Education and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by two grandsons, Caleb Nation and Michael Griffin.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby E. Griffin of Mt. Airy; two daughters, J. Marie Griffin-Taylor of Mt. Airy and Ann Nation of Easley, South Carolina; a son, Robert Griffin of Malden, Illinois; and six grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Derek Spain officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
