Lanny Raye Tillman

Lanny Raye Tillman, age 74, of Surrency died Friday, July 1, 2022 at Appling Healthcare.

Mr. Tillman was born July 12, 1947 in Wayne County to the late James Courson Tillman and the late Laura Virginia Tillman. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a pipefitter with Local 177. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his siblings, Lorne Tillman and Jaime Tillman.

Mr. Tillman is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Gary and Miriam Tillman of Surrency and sister in law, Doris Tillman of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Mann officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund 13965 Ten Mile Rd., Surrency, GA 31563.
