Larry Gerald Boatright

Larry Gerald Boatright, age 77, of Baxley passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Boatright was born August 25, 1945 in Appling County to the late Cecil Lyman Boatright and the late Florean Westberry Boatright. Larry was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and was Baptist by Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Boatright of Baxley; daughters Brenda B. Clark of Statesboro, Tammy (Dwight) Colter of Hazlehurst, Sherry (Glenn) Mallette of Hazlehurst; sons, Dale (Misty) Boatright of Baxley, and Wayne (Teresa) Morris of Hawkinsville; and four sisters, Ann Crosby of Baxley, Waunell Boatright of Baxley, Sandra E. Hardwick of Griffin, and Sara Spooner of Bryan. Several grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 4:00 pm from the Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.  Interment will follow.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 2:30pm on March 27, 2023.
