Lawrence Phillip Williams

Lawrence Phillip “Larry” Williams, age 69, of Baxley and formerly of Brandon, Florida did Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.

Mr. Williams was born September 19, 1951 in Elmhurst, IL. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a self-employed tile contractor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Shepherd, and father, Jim Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Carter Williams; children, Monica (Dustin) Knisley, Joey Williams, Becky Christianson, and Stacy Williams; grandson, Maverick Knisley; sisters, Jimlene (Mike) Pleva and Linda (Mike); brother, Ray Leitz; and niece & nephew, Libby & Sam Pleva.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 30, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at 2618 Buck Williams Road, Baxley, Georgia 31513.

A memorial service will be held June 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at The Dover Amvets Hall in Dover, Florida.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
