Lisa Jane Yawn

Lisa Jane Yawn, age 57, of Surrency died Friday, April 23, 2021 at her residence under the care of Community Hospice.

Lisa was born November 12, 1963 in Baxley to the late George Clinton Yawn and the late Georgia Mae Carter Yawn. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eudine Varnadore, Thelma Herndon, Janie Deen, and Monty Harrell; and her brothers, Wilburt Yawn, Roy Yawn, Wilton Yawn, Danny Yawn, Hank Yawn, and Wayne Yawn.

Survivors include her sons, Nick Stone, Chad Stone, and Kevin Stone; sisters, Judy Williams, Donna Miles, Gwen Turner, Wynette Yates, and Linda Cook; brothers, Randy Yawn and Royce Yawn; two special nieces and caretakers, Kelby Ross and Krista Herrington; and four grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held Sunday April 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Omega Cemetery with a eulogy given by Kelby Ross and Rev. Darrell Weaver officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Community Hospice and all those in attendance.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
