Lucille Rollins Griffin

Lucille Rollins Griffin, age 80, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Statesboro under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Mrs. Griffin was born October 19, 1941 in Jeff Davis County to the late Clinton K. Rollins and the late Viola Griffis Rollins. She was a seamstress and retired from Douglas & Harper Mfg. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Griffin.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Griffin of Statesboro; son, James Randall Griffin of Baxley; sister, Henrietta Young of Lincolnton. Several nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, and sisters-in-law also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Virginia Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in Baxley Graveyard.

Active pallbearers will be Clint Herrington, Cal Herrington, Shane Crummey, Terry Rollins, Larry Rollins, and Timmy Mullis.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends in attendance at the funeral service.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
