Patricia Elaine Lynn

Patricia Elaine Lynn, age 65, of Baxley passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at her residence under the care of Affinis Hospice.

Mrs. Lynn was born on July 18, 1957 in Appling Co. to the late Ardine Gurley and the late Annie Bell Davis Gurley.  She was a longtime employee of Dairy Queen and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.  Mrs. Lynn was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Allen Ryals, Sr. and her brother, Freddie Gurley.

Survivors include her husband, John Henry Lynn of Baxley; daughter, Ann Marie (Bill) Hamm of Baxley; son, Howard (Michelle) Gurley of Baxley; sister, Debbie (Herman) Spires of Baxley and brother, Larry Gurley of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jeff Davis County.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Gribble, Howard Gurley, Gary Ryals, Jr., Eric Grandstaff, Bill Hamm, David Hamm and the employees of Dairy Queen of Baxley.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
