Patricia Tanner Obituary

Patricia Gail Tanner, age 59, of Lumber City, died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Tanner was born March 31, 1962 in Bacon County to the late Denny Deen & Janie Yawn Deen and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Tanner and a sister, Marie Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Willie Russell of Lumber City; son & daughter-in-law, Scottie & Miranda Tanner of Surrency; sisters & brothers-in-law, Rhonda & Kip Davis of Baxley and Teresa & Clyde Eason of St. Mary’s; and brother-in-law, Ricky Johnson of Baxley. Eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.

Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Lott, Davonte Russell, Thad Russell, Kaleb Crosby, Keegan Shaver, and Willie Russell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Williams, Regency Southern Care Hospice, and all in attendance.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
