Phillip Ronald Miles

Phillip Ronald Miles, age 74, of Baxley, died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at The Pavilion.

Mr. Miles was born July 24, 1947 in Appling County to the late Lee Warren Miles and the late Mamie Mae Perdue Miles.  He was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church and was a Mason. Mr. Miles was a member of Holmesville Masonic Lodge and the Appling County Young Farmers. He was a Farm Equipment Salesman at Miles Tractor Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Godfrey Miles; daughters, Debbie Harrell and Sharon Foster; and siblings, Martha Lou M. Bevins, Frank E. Miles, Billy W. Miles, Christine M. Mock, and Bobby Jean Miles.

Mr. Miles is survived by his grandchildren, Diane (Cole) Yawn of Hazlehurst, Amanda (Ryan) Quinn of Baxley, Lily (Tyler) Toole of Brunswick, and Andrew Segui of Baxley; great grandchildren, Rylie Quinn, Ragin Quinn and Abram Yawn; sisters-in-law, Loretta Miles of Baxley and Sandra Miles of Kannapolis, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Weisel and Rev. David Barber officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Active pallbearers will be Jana Miles, Gretta Lewis, Diane Yawn, Cole Yawn, Andy Segui, Eddie Miles, Brack Miles and Mark Miles.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Holmesville Masonic Lodge, customers & staff of Miles Tractor Company and staff of The Pavilion C Hall.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
