Pratt H. Johnson

Pratt H. Johnson, age 99, of Dallas, Texas passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at Hillwood House in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Johnson was born on April 13, 1923 to the late Pratt Adam Johnson and the late Elizabeth Bigley Johnson.  He was a member at Believers Chapel in Dallas, Texas and Surrency Community Bible Church in Surrency, Georgia. Mr. Johnson served in the United States Army in the WWII Infantry in Europe & Asia with the rank of Corporal-Technician 4th Grade and received many medals and awards for his service. He was a retired scientist with NASA, where he analyzed moon rocks. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hammond Johnson.

Survivors include his sons, Pratt Deen Johnson of Richmond, TX, Steven Robert Johnson Columbia, MO, and Malcolm Hammond Johnson of Dallas, TX. Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Sean Malcolm Johnson officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Malcolm H. Johnson, Pratt Deen Johnson, Steven Robert Johnson, Sean Malcolm Johnson
