Raymond Beasley

Raymond Beasley, age 80, of Eatonton, formerly of Baxley passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Putnam General Hospital. 

Mr. Beasley was born November, 19, 1940 in Baxley to the late William “Bill” Beasley and the late Ruby Carter Beasley. Before retirement, he was a marble installer for Atlanta Marble and worked for General Pipeline and Hardaway Construction. Mr. Beasley was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Beasley.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Sharpe Beasley of Eatonton; sister and brother-in-law, Christine & Terry Todd of Baxley; brother and sister-in-law, Elton & Donna Carter of Baxley; three sisters-in-law, Jean Sharpe of Baxley, Juanita Durrance of Roberta, and Betty Lou Horne of Baxley; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Asbury Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
