Ronald Dean Dowless

Ronald Dean Dowless, age 61, of Baxley passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at his residence.

Ronnie was born January 17, 1960 in Gainesville, Florida to the late Troy J. Dowless and the late Mary Gibson Snyder. He was a talented carpenter who also enjoyed woodworking hobbies. He loved to cook and spending time in nature. In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Gene Dowless and a sister, LaTrelle Wells.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Candi & Ja Walker of Blackshear; son, Chris Dowless of Vanzant, MO; grandchildren, Jackson Walker and Colton Walker; sisters, Frances LaVern Law and Patsy Mead; special friends who were like family, Cody, Lana, & Colt Burkett. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at Appling Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Rentz officiating

Visitation will be Wednesday at 4:30 at Appling Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
