Sonja Barber Obituary

Sonja R. Barber, age 78, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Pavillion.

Mrs. Barber was born February 15, 1943 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Paul Ryder and the late Martha Reiter Ryder. Before retirement, she was a CNA in Bradenton, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Al Barber and her grandson, Robert “Bubba” Holton.

Survivors include her daughters, Robin Silva of Massachusetts, Rebecca Taylor of Waycross, and Sheila Woolf of Lake Alfred, FL; daughters in love, Shannon Danforth and Melinda Albritton both of Baxley; sons, Bobby Holton of Baxley and William Woolf of Rhode Island; grandchildren, Megan Carter, Amanda Woodcock, Desiree Boster, Billy Boster, Jason Gravett, Tim Shanley, Elle Shanley, Chad McLellan, James Taylor, Tiffany Burt, Ashley Lampin, Dianna Murphy, Katie Troche, Casandra Lopez, Destiny Albritton, and Sierra Albritton; great grandchildren, Emily Thorhaug, Madilyn Susemiehl, Karson Carter, Penelope Carter, Ronnie Anderson, Eli Anderson, Hayden Woodcock, Ryder Woodcock, Jojo Burt, Findlay Burt, Addy Jennings and Aurora Murphy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
