Matt was a student of mine at Altamaha Elementary and Appling Middle School. I was deeply saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I have known and forgotten many students in my long career, but Matt always stood out as one of my favorites. He was a delightful boy and just seeing the photos of him brings back such warm memories. I can even hear his voice in my head now. My heart goes out to all of you who loved Matt. His time on this planet was much too short and he will always be missed. Bless you, all.
